Customer Identifier States

List of states of a Customer Identifier and their significance.


There are two states for a Customer Identifier, Active and Closed. Given below is an illustration of the life cycle of a Customer Identifier.

The table below lists the various states of a Customer Identifier and gives a brief description of each state:

ActiveIndicates the Customer Identifier has been created and saved. You can accept payments using this account.Customers can start making payments to this Customer Identifier.
ClosedIndicates the Customer Identifier has been deactivated or has expired. You cannot accept payments using this account.Customers can no longer make payments to this Customer Identifier. You cannot reactivate the Customer Identifier. You need to create a new Customer Identifier to start accepting payments.
