Virtual Account States
There are two states for a Virtual Account, Active and Closed. Given below is an illustration of the life cycle of a Virtual Account.
The table below lists the various states of a Virtual Account and gives a brief description of each state:
Indicates the Virtual Account has been created and saved. You can accept payments using this account.
Customers can start making payments to this Virtual Account.
Indicates the Virtual Account has been deactivated or has expired. You cannot accept payments using this account.
Customers can no longer make payments to this Virtual Account. You cannot reactivate the Virtual Account. You need to create a new Virtual Account to start accepting payments.
