It is mandatory for all individuals who agree to act as Directors of the proposed company to provide Form DIR – 2 with correct information while filling SPICe+ form.
Format of a DIR-2
- Number of Directors/ Subscribers having valid DIN on non-valid DIN.
- Particulars of directors, promoters, and subscribers, including name, address, PAN (Permanent Account Number), Aadhaar number, etc.
- Declaration by-
• Non-individual first Subscribers
• Individual first subscribers (other than subscriber cum director)
• Individual first subscribers / Directors
• Directors ( Other than first Subscribers)
Documents Required while submitting the DIR-2
The essential documents needed for filing the DIR-2 form include:
- Proof of Identity: Valid identification document such as a Voter ID, Aadhar card, or any other recognized identity proof.
- Proof of Address: Relevant documents as proof of address, which may include electricity bills, rental agreements, or any other official documents substantiating your residential address.
How to Submit DIR-2?
To submit Form DIR-2, follow these steps:
- Log in to the MCA portal using your valid credentials.
- Navigate to the SPICe+ form section.
- In the Attachments section, click on "Attach" next to Declaration by first subscribers and directors.
- Upload the duly signed DIR-2 document by the Directors.
- Ensure all necessary attachments are included.
- Proceed to submit the Part B form alongside relevant documents.
