Steps to update account details on the Razorpay Dashboard. You can update display name, profile name, email and phone number.


You can update account details such as display name, profile name, email and phone number on the Razorpay Dashboard.

You can update the business display name on the Razorpay Dashboard. The new display name will reflect immediately on your Dashboard after you update it. It will be visible to you and your team on the Razorpay Dashboard.

To update the display name:

  1. Log in to the .
  2. Click Account & Settings and navigate to Account Details under Business Settings.
  3. Click the edit icon next to Display Name.
  4. Enter the new display name and click Update.

You can update the profile name on the Razorpay Dashboard. The new profile name will reflect immediately on your Dashboard after you update it. It will be visible to you in your profile section

To update the profile name:

  1. Log in to the .
  2. Click Account & Settings and navigate to Account Details under Business Settings.
  3. Click the edit icon next to Name.
  4. Enter the new profile name and click Update.

You can update the phone number on the Razorpay Dashboard. The new phone number will reflect on your Dashboard only after OTP-verification.

To update the phone number:

  1. Log in to the .
  2. Click Account & Settings and navigate to Account Details under Business Settings.
  3. Click the edit icon next to Phone Number.
  4. Enter the OTP sent to the currently registered phone number and click Confirm.
  5. Enter the new phone number and click Continue.

Proceed with the phone number confirmation process to complete the update.

You can update the Razorpay login email from the Razorpay Dashboard. You can:

Handy Tips

If you add a non-Razorpay user's email id, they will have to sign up for a Razorpay account.

As an account owner, you can update your Razorpay login email from the Razorpay Dashboard.

Example

You can replace your current email id with another email. For example, if you earlier had signed up with the email id info@acmecorp.in, you can now update it as gaurav.kumar@acmecorp.in.

To update the login email:

  1. Log in to the .
  2. Click Account & Settings and navigate to Account Details under Business Settings.
  3. Click the edit icon next to Email.

  4. Complete the 2-factor authentication process.
  5. On the pop-up page, enter the new email id. Re-enter the email id. Select the check box if you want Razorpay to send all communication details to this email id.

  6. A verification email is sent to your new email id. Open the email and complete the verification process.

You can make another member from your team the Razorpay account owner and add their email address as the login email id.

Example

  • You can add another team member's email id. You will need to change the user role of the team member to owner. For example, you can provide your manager's email id and upgrade them to the owner role.
  • You can add the email id of a Razorpay user who is not a member of your team. For example, Gauri Kumari is the manager of a Razorpay account, ABC Co. You want to add her as the owner of your Razorpay account, Acme Corp. Once you update her email address on the Dashboard, Gauri Kumari will become the owner of the Acme Corp account. However, she will still be the manager of the ABC Co Razorpay account.

To add a team member's email:

  1. Log in to the .
  2. Navigate to Account & Settings and click Manage Team under Business settings.
  3. On the Manage Team page, click Change next to the Owner.
  4. Select the team member whose role is to be upgraded and click Change Owner.
