Checklist to set up the RazorpayX Payroll Dashboard for your organisation.


Once you sign up with

, you must first set up your account and the Dashboard.

This account setup guide provides a checklist of prerequisite steps and best practices that set up your company's XPayroll account and system.

Using this guide, you can:

  • Enable and disable payroll components.
  • Set up a primary system.
  • Verify the information provided.

Add all of your employees to XPayroll to set up the payroll recipients.

Watch Out!

Sometimes, your employees may not be added to your system due to operational discrepancies like

. Re-trigger a welcome mail or invite them to your company and account.

On XPayroll, you can:

  • Add employees one by one, under Admin OptionsPeopleAdd One.
  • Add employees in bulk, under Admin OptionsPeopleAdd Multiple.

Update your company’s compliance details as applicable. XPayroll supports and automates many monthly

payments.

To enable compliances:

  1. Log in to your .
  2. Navigate to Admin OptionsCompany Details.
  3. Click Provident Fund / ESIC / Professional Tax / LWFEDIT and enable and disable the statuses as applicable to your company.

If you want XPayroll to handle your external compliances, connect XPayroll to your compliance portals as applicable. To do so:

  1. Navigate to Admin OptionsCompany Details.
  2. Update the credentials to the portals under Company DetailsExternal CredentialsEDIT.

You can upload your company logo in Company DetailsName and AddressEDIT and upload the photograph. This logo will reflect on all the payslips.

Handy Tips

The logo must:

  • Be in a PNG format.
  • Be rectangular shaped (aspect ratio 5:1 is ideal).
  • Have a transparent background.

It is a good practice to check if all the necessary information of your employees are available and up-to-date. To do so:

  1. Log into your
  2. Go to Admin OptionsReportsMissing Information.
  3. Ask your employees to verify the information provided.
  4. Update the changes in the employee's profiles.

You should recheck the salary components and net salaries calculations. To do so:

  1. Log into your
  2. Navigate to Admin OptionsReports.
  3. Select Salary Register and evalute existing salary components.

You must ask your employees to update their tax deductions and declarations on the

Employees must navigate to Tax Deductions on their Dashboard to update their tax details and minimise their deductible taxes.

You need to add your XPayroll Account as a beneficiary to enable fund transfers. You can find your account details in the XPayroll

If Provident Fund applies to your company and employees, you must update their Universal Account Number (UAN). To do so:

  1. Log into your
  2. Navigate to Admin OptionsPeople.
  3. From the list of employees, select the employee and open their profile.
  4. Update their PF details in Provident FundProfessional Tax & ESI.

With all of the above done, your account is now completely set up to process payroll.
