What is UPI Transaction Status?

The Unified Payments Interface (UPI) transaction status indicates whether your money transfer is in progress, successful, pending, or has encountered an error.

How to Check UPI Transaction Status?

Method 1: Through your UPI App

Most UPI apps display transaction history with individual status indications like “In Progress, “Successful”, “Pending” or “Failed”.

Locate the specific transaction and expand on it to view its details, including status, date, time, and amount, and UPI reference number.

Method 2: Online Banking

Step 1: Log in to your bank’s official website or mobile app.
Step 2: Navigate to the ‘TRANSACTIONS’ or ‘ACCOUNT ACTIVITY’ section.
Step 3: Find the relevant UPI transaction and view its status along with other details.

Method 3: SMS Alerts/Notifications

Upon transaction completion, you usually receive an SMS alert or notification from your bank with the status and UPI reference number about the status of your transaction.
