Your Indian customers can make payments using local payment methods such as UPI, credit cards, debit cards and netbanking. The funds are settled in your overseas bank account. Handy Tips
  • SWIFT-enabled bank account is mandatory for international settlements.
  • All sections such as Privacy Policy, Pricing, About Us, Contact Us, Refund Policy and Shipping Policy (if selling physical goods) of your website must be updated with accurate and current information before submission.

Document Categories

Board Resolution Template or Power of Attorney

  • A Board Resolution is a formal record of the directors’ approval granting that authority.
  • A Power of Attorney is a legal document that allows someone to act or sign on behalf of a company.
  • Explicit authorisation for international payment acceptance.
  • Clear designation of authorised signatory for Razorpay Merchant Services.
  • Authority to link bank accounts and handle transactional matters.
  • Authority to submit KYC documentation and compliance requirements.

Handy TipThe Board Resolution must explicitly mention Razorpay Merchant Services and authorisation for accepting international payments in India. Use the template and customise it with your company details.

Purpose Codes for International Transactions

When accepting payments from Indian customers, you must select the appropriate purpose code. This code is mandatory per RBI regulations and categorises the nature of your transaction.
