Bank Account Details
Steps to update your bank account details on the Razorpay Dashboard.
You can request a change to your settlement (bank) account linked to your account. After you provide the necessary details and documents, we will verify the account and update the information. We will contact you if further clarifications are required.
To request a bank account change:
- Log in to your Dashboard.
- Click Account & Settings in the left navigation.
- Click Bank account details under Bank accounts and settlements section and click Change bank account.
- Enter the OTP sent to your registered mobile device on the 2-Step Verification pop-up page.
- Enter the details of the new bank account you want to link with your account. The new bank account will be your new settlement account.
- Upload a copy of your account statement and click Save.
Handy Tips
- You will receive email notifications for the following:
- When you initiate a request to update the settlement bank account details.
- When the bank account details are successfully updated.
- We may reach out to you for clarification via email, SMS, and the Dashboard during the verification process. Navigate to Account & Settings and submit the necessary information in the appropriate section. Our team will go through the information you provide and help you resolve the issue.

Please ensure the below information is clearly visible:
- Beneficiary Name: This must precisely match your business name as registered on Razorpay.
- Proprietorships: The name can also match your promoter's PAN name.
- IFSC Code
- Bank Account Number

If the beneficiary name on your existing bank account does not align with your Razorpay-registered business name (or promoter's PAN name for proprietorship), you have two options:

Open a new bank account where the beneficiary name accurately reflects your registered business name or your promoter's PAN name on Razorpay.

Alternatively, you can provide a letter on your bank's official letterhead. This letter must be signed and sealed by your bank manager, explicitly affirming that the bank account number associated with the IFSC code belongs to your registered business name.
