It all began with Priyadharshini, a mother deeply distressed by the rashes on her infant daughter\u2019s cheek. She had tried every commercial baby product out there, but nothing seemed to help.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In her search for a solution, she finally reached out to an old friend, Megala. Megala, who ran her own farm, sent over a bottle of some hand-extracted coconut oil in the hope it might provide relief. And it did.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

When Priyadharshini applied the oil on her daughter\u2019s face, the allergy disappeared almost overnight! As someone who had always felt a connection with nature, this further strengthened her belief in its healing power.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The two friends were excited by the discovery of this simple but potent home remedy and thought \u201cWhy not share this with others?\u201d and that\u2019s how the seeds of <\/span>Root and Soil <\/span><\/i>were planted.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

A lot has happened since and Razorpay has been right next to them in their growth journey. The once small operation that started with three types of coconut oils has since evolved into a flourishing business with over 35 products today and customers from all parts of the world.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Despite the scale at which the business now operates, they continue to be rooted to their mission which is to support newer parents with carefully crafted natural remedies. All the products are handcrafted in a small village near Pollachi, Tamil Nadu.<\/span><\/p>\n

International Expansion and its Challenges\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n

After the success in the Indian market, Priyadharshini felt it was time to take <\/span>Root and Soil<\/span><\/i> to an international audience too. However, being an exporter brought with it its own challenges, as far as international payments were concerned: <\/span><\/p>\n
