Brothers Shardul and Sitanshu Sheth  saw this gap up close. They noticed that millions of Indian farmers were still dependent on local dealers for crop inputs, often getting inconsistent product quality and generic advice that did little to solve their real problems. Margins were slim, risks were high, and one failed crop season could mean crippling debt.

So in 2013, they decided to change that. Starting with a missed-call service, AgroStar reached out to farmers across Gujarat and Maharashtra. Any farmer can give a missed call and receive expert crop advice, without needing the internet or a fancy smartphone. The trust was instant. 

As word spread, AgroStar evolved into a full-stack AgTech platform:
