Budget 2022 Highlights: Our Honorable Finance Minister, Nirmala Sitharaman has unveiled the first post-vaccine Budget of India. The Union Budget 2022 aims to boost income for businesses, in a bid to revive economic growth.
This year’s futuristic and inclusive Budget laid out a blueprint for the Amrit Kaal which aims to benefit the country’s youth, women, farmers, the scheduled castes and the scheduled tribes. And, the PM GatiShakti lays the following four priorities:
- PM GatiShakti
- Inclusive Development
- Productivity Enhancement & Investment, Sunrise Opportunities, Energy Transition, and Climate Action
- Financing of Investments
While no significant income tax changes were made in the Budget 2022, the government did announce measures for small businesses and startups.
